• Established committee to prepare a Lake Plan for Mary Lake – plan in approval stage

• Successfully fought the closing of the dam to pedestrians

• Working to get better control of Lake Levels

• Linked with other cottage organizations to get current information about issues

• Provided current information to you through our regular newsletters

• Provided regular water quality reports

• Have regular meetings and the AGM

Here is a sample of what the Association can do with your support and input .

• Coordination with municipal government on septic inspections

• Monitoring water quality in Mary Lake through a Lake Partners Testing Program that liaises with the MOE and the District of Muskoka

• Monitoring water levels in the Mary Lake watershed with MNR to improve water level management
